“ I recently returned to my old town, Santa Clarita, and couldn’t resist stopping by one of my favorite restaurants, Lazy Dog. This particular location holds so much nostalgia for me—it’s where I first brought my dog after we adopted her eight years ago. The restaurant is dog-friendly, with a spacious patio that welcomes furry companions, which is exactly how it got its name. Fast forward a few years, and now I have two little kids. I was excited to bring them here for the first time. They both loved the chicken strips meal, and I had to steal a bite (mom tax, of course). I opted for the lunch special— a chicken salad sandwich—and it was just as delicious as I remembered. One thing I really appreciate about this location is that they offer lunch specials on weekends, which is a great perk. For anyone looking to unwind, there’s a cozy bar area, complete with TVs showing the games. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a meal, catch up with family, and make new memories. ”

“ The food was delicious and unique. The staff were exceedingly kind, attentive, generous, and fun. The only thing that would’ve made it more perfect would be some sound dampening. ”

“ Showed up at the right time! We came for an early dinner and were told about the happy hour specials. We tried the fried deviled eggs, chipotle chicken quesadilla, and chicken wraps. All were tasty and delivered with a great service. It was a great meal and a great experience! ”

“ This was the first time I’ve heard of sleepy dog. I was with a party of three and we had a blast here! The atmosphere felt very log cabinish feel and it was very relaxing! The staff were all very nice and knowledgeable over the huge menu! I was so impressed that they have a beer club and also beers that are made for them. The best part about this is that they were fantastic as well! We told our waitress that that was the first time I was visiting and they brought us dill chips that were complementary and they were really good and that was a really nice of them! The cheese curds came with different sauces. That were really good. I got the Cuban sandwich and I also tried the pot roast dip and both of them were incredible! I was so excited about the food that I forgot to take a picture, but trust me it’s out of this world! I would love to come back here anytime now when I’m traveling! ”

“ My sister and I ate here for the first time today and it was delicious! So many dishes to choose from and prices are comparable to other sit down restaurants. I had the Berry compote pancakes and my sister got the chicken parmesan. Both were very tasty and filling. We will definitely be back. ”
